Tim Clarke - ChairpersonTim Clarke is one of those oldies who has returned to rowing. He began with the Waikato Rowing Club in 1979 and back then was a frequent attendee of the old camp at Mangakino in the early 1980's. Tim is now of the Waikato Rowing Performance Centre and a keen masters rower. Tim is a lawyer who works as a mediator and facilitator. Being part of the formation of the Mangakino Water Sports Camp Inc. and helping to build and strengthen this amazing facility at Mangakino is a fulfilling role and one which aligns well with Tim's Collaborative skill set. Tony NelsonTony has been involved in rowing since the early 1990's. Tony was Club Captain at both Hamilton and Cambridge Rowing Clubs and is a Past President of the Hamilton Rowing Club. Tony is a Life Member of and was the President of the Waikato Rowing Association, a position that he held for five years and was a committee member for 15 years. Tony is a Rowing New Zealand Licensed Race Official and a Level II accredited coach with 28 years of Coaching experience, 16 of those in a Head Coach role. Tony served three years on the Board of Karapiro Rowing Inc. after 10 years as their Regatta Controller. Tony has been involved with regattas at Lake Karapiro since about 1995.

Pat PeoplesPat rowed for St Bede's College during the 1980's and then for Avon and Waikato Rowing Clubs until 2000. Pat represented New Zealand in rowing from 1991 until 1996 where he attended rowing camps and New Zealand rowing trials held at the Mangakino Rowing Camp. Pat is a life member of the Waikato Rowing Club. Pat currently coaches at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls where his eldest daughter rowed and youngest daughter still rows and is in the Senior squad. Pat is a shareholder in the Schick Civil and PPD Group, which actively support school and club rowing programmes around both the Waikato and Canterbury regions.

Greg BallGreg has had more than fifty years association with rowing. Firstly, at Hamilton Boys High School and then competing for several seasons for the Waikato Rowing Club where he is a Life Mamber. In the 1970's, Greg represented New Zealand internationally in several age group crews. Greg currently resides in Wellington where most of his business interests are based. Greg maintains his interest with the Mighty Waikato and lifelong passion for rowing and also endorses the significant benefits derived by all youth being actively engaged in sports.

Brian HawthoreNow in his eighties, Brian is a long time rowing coach, at both club and national levels, who has been bringing rowers to Lake Maraetai since 1976. He was in the group that started the camp at Karori Crescent, which has subsequently been developed through the incredible energy and generaosity of Peter Thomas. With his background, Brian is an enthusiastic supporter of the camp concept to allow a wide public access to Lake Maraetai an Mangakino.

Frank HealeyFrank is a dairy farmer at Karapiro. Frank, with his involvement with Hamilton Boys' High School rowing, has had nearly 20 years involvement with rowing and the camp at Mangakino. Frank is keen to put these many years of experiance to good use for the next chapter of the camp - the Mangakino Water Sports Camp Inc.
